Your Personality Unlocked Book

If you haven’t already read Your Personality Unlocked – Living Life to its Fullest, what are you waiting for Personality Dimensions® Master Trainers, and authors of Colour Savvy, Anne Bulstrode and Susan Geary give us the book everyone has been asking for.

Your Personality Unlocked is a great introduction to using Personality Dimensions® in all aspects of life, and also makes a great leave-behind for clients who have participated in one of your workshops. Print copies are available now on CLSR.ca or get it for Kindle on Amazon.com /.ca/.com.au/.co.uk.

We asked Anne and Susan to share why they wrote this book, and what it will do for the reader. Here’s what they had to say…

Our goal was to write a book about Personality Dimensions® that was easy to read and understand and that everyone would benefit from. We wanted to make sure that even if you knew nothing about Personality Dimensions®, you could pick the book up, grasp the different dimensions and use it as a tool to become more self-aware and gain a greater understanding of others. Equally, our hope was that if you already understand the four dimensions, you could gain some additional insights into others.

To help those that are new to the dimensions, we start off the book with a self-assessment that allows you to figure out the different dimensions that you use. Then we shift our focus to the difference between introversion and extraversion and includes a self-assessment to help you decide what your preference is.
In chapter three, readers will be able to learn about the unique needs and values associated with each dimension.

The next three chapters focus on various aspects of communication. First, we give insights into how to communicate with different dimensions, as well as how you prefer to be communicated with. Then we look at relationships and examine what the relationship needs are for each dimension. And finally, most people find conflict with others stressful and are sometimes lost about how to manage conflict situations. As a starting point, chapter 6 helps us gain insight into what causes the different dimensions conflict, how each dimension causes conflict for others and how they behave when in conflict.

Work offers different joys and challenges, and we go on to discuss how each dimension can thrive at work, both as employees and managers.

People often ask us how to figure out the primary dimension of another person. While this is not an exact science, we offer some visual, verbal and non-verbal clues that can help you make an educated guess about other’s preferred dimensions.

Finally, we tie the whole book together by looking at the similarities between the dimensions, some of the differences and how to bridge these differences.
